Fanito® company was established in 1999. The founder and owner is Mr. Fanito Žuvela from Vela Luka.
It was a natural upgrade on the work done by several generations of the Žuvela Family and their ancestors. Mr. Žuvela was born in Vela Luka in a hard-working family. He grew up surrounded by olive trees, vine and figs, aware of the inexhaustible and noteworthy potential of his place of birth. In his education, he partly focused on agriculture, where he fortified and then expanded his previous knowledge. By establishing Fanito company, he transforms his fantasy into reality.

The goal and vision of the company is to place our high quality indigenous products on tables of our people and to show the whole world what we have and are able to produce, to provide a product that has been produced here, in the western part of the island of Korčula, in Vela Luka. Accordingly, we are strictly dealing with domestic production, using exclusively indigenous raw materials, which we nourish and develop, in both our own production and production connected to our subcontractors. At this point we are particularly emphasizing that our plans and activities are directed towards ecological production. Vela Luka is well-known for its centenary tradition of producing the premium quality olive oil, figs and wine, which already guarantees the quality of products intended for all of us.
